Testimonials – Commercial Clients

Here are examples, of comments from some of our customer’s:-

..........Firstly I would like to thank you and your team for the outstanding achievement yesterday in completing the tree works in Middleton Gardens, the whole operation was very impressive from the speed the works were completed, to the organization and obvious team work involved.

Secondly can you relay my appreciation to Dean for his patients and perseverance with Westminster Council in getting the road closure approved.

Once again many thanks to the whole Connick Tree Care Team..........

..........Thank you very much for supporting the “National Arbor Day 2007” in Sompting and Lancing.  It surpassed our wildest hopes from when we first heard of the Association’s adoption of the Day of Action.  With some fifty skilled tree surgeons in action, we think you will agree that it was quite some event with tree activity being apparent throughout Sompting and Lancing.  Some 200 grub infested elm trees were felled and disposed of over the weekend, and that means that the National Elm Collection in Brighton & Hove is now much more secure for 2007 than it would have been without your efforts.

We know from the comments made by many of the residents that they appreciated the work carried out and were very impressed by the skills demonstrated.  Therefore, we think that is it also true that is proved to be an excellent ‘shop window’ for the industry.

Thanks again to you and to the South East Branch of the Arboricultural Association.  We can now all look forward with more confidence to enjoying the National Elm Collection for many years to come.

Please pass on our thanks to your staff.  The memory of their expertise and enthusiasm in Sompting and Lancing will be with us for a long time..........

..........I would just like to thank you to your emergency call out team who attended Apsley House Museum last night, after an Indian bean tree was blown over in the storm.

The challenge was magnified, due to the fallen tree being held firm by the canopy of an adjacent tree, "like a bomb about to drop at any time“ onto a public pathway.

Both team members were polite and excelled in carrying out their duties – in the dark – in high winds – very professional.............

Graham Banks Surrey County Councils Transportation Arborist chose Connick Tree Care from a select list of successful tenders, on the basis of best value against a model of schedule rates, tendered by Ringway Highway Services. Surrey County Council are a Highways Authority responsible for trees over 4750km of highway network in the county.
Graham says "The magnitude of this task is breathtaking with over one million trees to consider for maintenance. We have adopted a strategic approach and rely heavily on the professionalism of our contractors to deliver high quality service in pursuing road safety whilst managing the threat from trees". More >>>

..........Connick Tree Services is a commercial operation operating between London and Brighton.  I was completely bowled over by their professional approach.  Their risk assessment both before and during operation was fantastic.  The staff was young and enthusiastic and at no time compromised their safety in the tree, no matter how fast they were moving.............

..........I am writing on behalf of myself and my colleagues Ray Strong and Stuart Derwent to convey our sincere thanks for providing such generous support to the Day of Action in Southwick and Shoreham yesterday.  Special thanks also to Keith Hunter for his support, encouragement and sweat!

The day went exceedingly well; lots of trees on a number of sites efficiently removed.  Your staff were a credit to you in their professionalism and enthusiasm.  Not only was each task tackled speedily, a friendly atmosphere, with lots of humour, pervaded the work.

Their action has helped ‘hold the line’ in this important part of the DED control area.  We must now concentrate on ensuring that those who hold the reins of power in Brighton and Hove taken action appropriate to the threat they face.

Once again, thanks to you all for such a great effort, it's really appreciated............

..........As I am sure you know, the day went well and achieved all of the targets set for the operation.  It is only left for me to comment on the massive positive response to the Elm Disease campaign from Connick Tree Care, organised by yourself and supported by your Arborists.

I have always, as you know, respected the DED reports from ‘Connick’ made over many years in my own ‘patch’ and always have taken these very seriously and therefore I suppose I was not at all surprised with the level of commitment and support from you all on Saturday.

I am sure that you will understand when I say that while thanks are inadequate in this case, it is only by offering my heartfelt personal thanks to you all that I can begin to acknowledge the contribution you have made collectively.

The National Elm Collection belongs, of course to everyone, but in the end it is down to commitment and hard work by a select few to retain it.  You and your Arborists have certainly contributed a major share, thank you again............

...........I thought the work you carried out today was worthy of an e-mail from me to say thank you for a job well done. I do try and praise where it's due and this job certainly falls into this arena. The work has been carried out to an exceptional level.

Not only was I impressed with your prompt actions in coming round to survey and to quote for the work, I was also impressed with you and your company's professionalism from start to finish.

I thought we had one birch, then you mentioned we had two birch trees and one Pittosporum. As it turned out we actually had three birch trees and a Pittosporum... just goes to show how dense the area was!

One thing I was really astonished by was the guys attention to detail when clearing up afterwards. Not only did they clear the paths and patio in our garden but they even excelled themselves when they cleared the side alley to the front of the property. It did need a sweep but I didn't expect your guys to do it for me. That deserves a special thanks.

I thought you would like to see the before and after photos and am sure you will agree your guys did a great job. I am sure our neighbours will appreciate it too.

Your colleagues communication was first class letting me know the intended plans and even asked me half way through how much I would like cut back from our Pittosporum.

I will be more than happy to recommend Connick Tree Care to any prospective customers. They will not be disappointed.

Once again thank you and well done............

..........I appointed Connick Tree Care approximately three years ago to undertake the first of several phases of tree maintenance at the old Royal Naval College, Greenwich which has a population of 150 London Plane trees. This followed a competitive tender procedure which was overseen by Carillion, our arboriculture advisors.

The first phase consisted largely of crown lifting and the removal of decayed or dangerous limbs. I was impressed in particular with the Health and Safety measures which were logical and effective and with the 'gang' management whereby one person was in control, issuing precise instructions to the men aloft and co-ordinating each part of the operation.

Based on the first phase of work I have let three more packages to Connick Tree Care. The latest was particularly complicated as the work had to be co-ordinated with other major developments on site, pedestrian rights of way had to be diverted, the full student population was in residence and entrances to several parts of the estate had to be maintained (or closures kept to a minimum). We also had to co-ordinate quiet periods, particularly during a luncheon given for a Royal Visitor. In addition to all this the site is a scheduled monument and all the trees are adjacent to historically important cast iron railings which required special protection.

Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Connick Tree Care and indeed have recently asked them to quote for a further package of work including crown lifting, reduction, felling and re-planting............

..........Connick Tree Care have provided an excellent service, both responding to programmed and emergency work, providing an excellent and safe tree service. They take an interest in the parks both from a commercial perspective but also as partners in public access, enjoyment and interpretation...........

..........I would also like to take this opportunity to say that it has been a very long time since I have had the pleasure of observing what was effectively a well motivated, professional, competent and ultimately capable team at work.

The speed at which the trees were felled, debris cleared, chipped and disposed was simply perfection in action.

Changing the crew on the second and third day did not deter from this and we did achieve so much more than first anticipated given the extremely sensitive situation.

I trust and hope that I have the pleasure of working along side Connick in the future............

..........although we have been using Connick Tree Care for just a few months, we have already come to rely on their excellent service and professionalism. This professionalism is highlighted by the level and quality of the communication demonstrated, meaning we always know what's going on.

Small and larger jobs have been completed, with equal levels of enthusiasm and care and I would and do recommend Connick Tree Care to others...........

..........I was delighted with the quality of the work, which was carried out for us on the trees on our property, which are covered by a preservation order.  Your team was highly professional, polite and efficient; and they cleared up the debris after them most effectively.

The maintenance work you have carried out not only preserves the trees, but also greatly enhances the appearance of the property.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your professional services to our business and personal colleagues...........
